Terms of Service

By installing or using PaperBox, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction) and that you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use PaperBox for your personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control.

You may use PaperBox to: • Scan physical documents using your device camera. • Organize, tag, and manage scanned documents on your device. • Extract text from scanned documents using on-device OCR. • Export and share documents you have created.

You agree NOT to: • Use the app to scan, store, or distribute illegal content or content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights. • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app. • Use the app in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations. • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when using the app.

The app, including its design, code, and original content, is owned by PaperBox and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain full ownership of all documents and content you create using the app.

PaperBox is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components, or that defects will be corrected.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PaperBox and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of documents, data, or profits, arising from your use of the app. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your documents.

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. All your data is stored locally on your device.

We reserve the right to modify the app and these Terms at any time. Material changes to the Terms will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

You may stop using the app and uninstall it at any time. We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to the app if you violate these Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
